I'd give it more like a 75

"300" didn't live up to the hype for me, I'm afraid. No amount of visual stunnery can make up for a plot that involves a hot-headed king who doesn't have the vision to look past his own nose for solutions to problems that plague his entire country. It's a story of dogged determination to be so individualistic that you get slaughtered to make way for the new guard--if individualism can be encapsulated in animalistic, reactionary responses to aggression.

With that said, if the movie didn't have any words, but instead was just sound and movement, I could've seen this as an art piece. But the addition of bombastic, 4th grade dialogue just served to make this movie the cinematic equivalent of a ultra-high-tech, brushed stainless steel tire cover with tweety bird etched on its surface, giving everyone the finger.
